Description
Cedar Mountain's airstrip sits atop the similarly named Cedar Mountain, offering panoramic views of the Wasatch Plateau, Book Cliffs, Henry and La Sal Mountains.
The runway measures 2000 feet long by 40 feet wide and features well-maintained gravel and dirt. When approaching, pilots should note that the southern end of the runway terminates with a dramatic 1,500-foot vertical drop, and the runway slopes uphill toward the south. Additionally, be aware of potential vehicular traffic on the southern end of the airstrip, as Cedar Mountain Road runs through the runway.
There are no amenities available at this location, though a windsock was installed in April 2025.
