BIG BAR, ID

Big Bar is located in Hells Canyon on the banks of the Snake River (on the Idaho side).  There are currently no runway markings, tiedowns, or developed camping sites.   There is a windsock approximately midfield on the east side of the runway.

IAA has built a seasonal pit toilet that will be in place from roughly Labor Day through Memorial Day. Undeveloped camping sites are located along the river.

Temperance Creek Ranch and airstrip is located across the river on the Oregon side.
