A quick preview of the latest BRLP video - 'On Ice'!

In this latest installment of Big Rocks & Long Props, Greg Miller meets-up with famed bush pilot Paul Claus to learn about ski flying in Alaska's rugged wilderness of the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. This time around the movie trades-in the conspicuously extreme hydro-planing and big rock landings for the a style of extreme flying where, as Greg puts it, "the margin between life and death can be extremely thin."

This movie is different than the first two, and I like that. The scenery is spectacular and the it's fun to see Greg step into a new element to learn from someone like Paul Claus. The DVD includes just over an hour of ski flying and a short bonus section that includes highlights from the 2007 Valdez Fly-In STOL competition.
