Antique Serge? Vintage Mod by Columbia? Traction Elevator, USA Hostel, SF, CA w/ Floridian Elevators

Note: This elevator is not public (unless you are staying here). This video was filmed with permission.

The machine room footage I have decided to put in a separate video.

There were 2 fails when filming this video.
      1. I ran out of memory at one point, and had to delete some videos (ones that I had already uploaded)
      2. I had to retake part of the video because I was accidently recording in slow motion for the first take of the 2nd part of the video.

This elevator has 3 brand names on it, and I am not sure if any of them are original! There is a Columbia namplate on the car top, and on the governor, the motor is labeled Serge, and the controller is labeled Virginia Controls (though I think they just make controllers and don't install elevators). I am guessing Serge is the original brand, though I don't know for sure if this was always traction. This elevator could have originally been winding drum. One very strange thing about this elevator is that the basement elevator machine room door appears to be an elevator swing door! There is a window in the door, but there is even an area of the door missing where the piece that goes into the interlock would go! Did a 2nd elevator once exist? I kind of doubt it, but I don't know.

Sadly, there are plans to modernize, or possibly even completely replace this elevator.

Year installed: Unknown (building was built in 1909, but I am not sure if this elevator was from then or a little later)

Otis (mod Otis) Traction Elevators - Century Plaza I, San Jose CA - RETAKE

These elevators probably had Series 1 fixture originally. Since I last filmed these Otis has finished the modernization project. I wanted to get a retake of these since my first take was on my phone, not my dedicated camera.

Interestingly, some of the elevators have the Gen2 voice, and some do not. I am not sure if this is a glitch, or if some of the elevators have the voices disabled for some reason.

SHATTETED GLASS ThyssenKrupp Oildraulic Hydraulic Elevator - Downtown Parking, Mountain View, CA

Both elevators in this garage are obviously abused.... The fact that this thing was still in service with a shattered window is crazy. Had the glass falled out, the shaft would be exposed. There could be a safety sensor for that though, I really don't know. Either way this was a serious hazard and just quite sad.

This video was filmed with Caltrain 920 and Elevators. Check out his channel here:

Agent 47 (also known as "The Hitman" and "47," among many pseudonyms like "Tobias Rieper") is a highly skilled assassin, both in ability and in his techniques. His genetically engineered mind and body make competition next to nothing, and for this reason, Agent 47 is considered to be the greatest (and not to mention, most discreet) assassin in the world.

Agent 47 was created by Dr. Ort-Meyer as his 47th clone in his underground cloning laboratory, disguised under the surface appearance of a sanitarium.

Otis Hydraulic Elevators @ 455 O'Connor Drive, San Jose CA

(5-29-2015) Something temporarily screwed up my Nikon COOLPIX S9700 so that it would not record a video of any decent length. Luckily I carry two cameras when on dedicated elevator filming trips.

These elevators are in O'Connor's Family Health Center Outpatient Rehabilitation building. This is a newer building that is across the street from the main hospital.
