Nine newsreels (not in production order) from Universal-International depicting news in the world of politics, sports, celebrities, science, and human interest. Truman-related footage includes President Harry S. Truman's speech on January 19, 1951 regarding his views of Joseph Stalin; First Lady Bess Truman welcoming United Cerebral Palsy poster children; Mrs. Truman welcoming Mrs. Eisenhower to the White House after the election of 1952; and President Truman with daughter Margaret Truman at the 1952 Army-Navy Game.
