Description
Davis Airport in Gates, appears to be pretty much deserted at this point. All adjacent buildings where run down and overgrown with weeds. There is a cherokee sitting outside completely overgrown with blackberrys. No windsock or tie-downs that I could find. Nice spot if you like grass though.

May 5, 2022 at 9:25 pmDropped in May 4th 2022. The grass was cut/short on the runway, cultivated on either side of runway. Always a fun stop. I recommend following the Santiam down stream to the Willamette River or visa versa – just for the scenery.
