Landing at an abandoned airstrip on the East Tavaputs plateau, eastern Utah. Field elevation is about 7400' MSL. Density altitude on the field was 10,300. Aircraft is a Zenith STOL CH701'.

Today I flew into Hite, it is a 2000 ft. narrow paved strip. it has a 5% uphill grade for landing and you usually depart downhill no matter what the winds are doing.
