This is a public-use, privately owned airport. Visitors are strongly advised to land northbound and depart southbound due to the slope. Downhill landings on days of strong winds from the south should be approached carefully as the slope increases to the south. On a northbound landing, consider a touchdown about 500 feet down the runway to avoid the somewhat rough ground on the south end. Gate is locked to keep out the scrap metal thieves but if you know the ctaf you should probably be able to escape.
