A video with my new ATC9K camera, approaching BFI (Boeing Field) from Vashon Island, to land on 13R (long landing).

Taking off from Vashon Municipal airport in the Navion.
I did do a performance check beforehand to see if we could get out and the numbers said it was going to be close. It was definitely tight but I think it made for an interesting video.

Arlington Municipal (KAWO) is a very special general aviation airport located northeast of Seattle, WA. This is a mecca for sport aviation, you can find everything there from vintage biplanes to jets, home builds, warbirds and ready-to-fly Vashon light-sport aircraft. If you haven't visited Arlington, you're missing something, and while you're there you can sample some of Ellie's great food, too!
