    Description

    Fun place to camp, nice runway, right next to a beautiful beach, perfect grass for a tent, no one there and no fees.  In poor visibility don't confuse the drag strip which parallels the runway for the runway.  The runway is the closer of the two to the ocean.

    It is a worthy 3 miles by foot to the historic Samoa Cookhouse and Logging Museum along the highway or down the beach.  Cabs are available from Eureka, with about a 15 min wait.  Beach is nice and flat for walking, just watch for sneaker waves.

      Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.

      Learning by listening is a great way to:
      - increases imagination and understanding
      - improves your listening skills
      - improves your own spoken accent
      - learn while on the move
      - reduce eye strain

      Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

      SUMMARY
      =======
      San Francisco International Airport (IATA: SFO, ICAO: KSFO, FAA LID: SFO) is an international airport 13 miles (21 km) south of downtown San Francisco, California, United States, near Millbrae and San Bruno in unincorporated San Mateo County. It has flights to points throughout North America and is a major gateway to Europe and Asia.
      SFO is the largest airport in Northern California and the second-busiest in California and on the Western Coast of North America, after Los Angeles International Airport. In 2017, it was the seventh-busiest airport in the United States and the 24th-busiest in the world by passenger count. It is the fifth-largest hub for United Airlines and functions as United's primary transpacific gateway. It also serves as a secondary hub for Alaska Airlines. It is a major maintenance hub for United Airlines, and houses the Louis A. Turpen Aviation Museum and Library.
      SFO is owned and policed by the City and County of San Francisco, but is in San Mateo County. Between 1999 and 2004 the San Francisco Airport Commission operated city-owned SFO Enterprises, Inc., to oversee its business purchases and operations of ventures.
