THE BUSIEST IN AMERICA: Planespotting in Atlanta Airport ATL
During my three hour layover in Atlanta a few weeks back, I was able to get some much-awaited spotting in at the north end of Concourse B. My connecting flight was departing from Gate B33 which is right by the edge of the concourse and made for some great views of the north side arrivals and departures. The amount of 757's I saw in just a few minutes was incredible, especially considering how many of them didn't have winglets. Stay tuned till the end where I got an incredible shot of two winglet-less 757's taxiing one behind the other! Definitely not a common sight these days. Atlanta is the busiest airport in the United States and used to be the busiest in the WORLD until last year...when it lost the title to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport in China.
