Quarter Circle Circle (BLM), CO

BackCountry Airstrip with Cabin Rentals, Hunting, Horse rentals, Private fishing, is available from the nearby Q.C.C. Ranch (Call 970-641-3616).

Notes:
-Airstrip is on a BLM Road & Cattle Grazing Land. Caution for livestock on runway. Runway also serves as a road. Appearance of 'two-track' vehicle marks when landing.
-There is a 1260 ft unmarked portion of the rwy to the SW of the marked runway. Useable for T/O & LNDG
-** Caution for 6' 5" fence pole 35 ft NW of the runway near the RWY 05 Threshold. **
-Gopher holes are present on runway. More prevelant on the 1260' ext SW of the marked RWY.
-Use Caution for berms (from rwy grading) and rocks that line sides of runway.
-Airport is at 9600'. Plan accordingly and Check Density Altitude limitations.
-Runway is surrounded by Private Property on all sides. Contact QCC Ranch for more info.
-Camping is allowed on the BLM land near the field. Although cattle may be present.
-Services (i.e. Fishing/Water/Horses/Cabins) are only for guests of the Q.C.C. ranch.
