      A twin engine Cessna 310 airplane made an emergency landing at French Valley airport after the pilot reported trouble with the landing gear. Resources with the Riverside County Fire Department / Cal Fire were staged along the runway and were in communication with the pilot as he brought the plane in. The landing gear collapsed as the plane was touching down, causing the plane to land on it's belly and skid into a large dirt field east of the runway. The pilot was uninjured and was extricated from the plane by the firefighters at the scene within just a few moments.
