    Description

Just south of the I-60 and west of the city. The runway runs from south-west to north-east. The field slopes up hill to the north-east best for landings that way.

Challenging Arizona Airstrips - Flying J Ranch (E37)

A T&G on runway 18 at the Flying J Ranch. Threshold is contaminated with brush and the takeoff is into rising terrain. The utility polls that run parallel just off to the right side of the runway can be a little unnerving, even more so when you see the polls cross the departure end of the runway, fortunately the lines are buried at the crossover point. Note the Boxcar cargo plane (C-119) sitting off to the left side of the runway.

Arizona's Private Airports - Eagle Roost Landing 27AZ

Landing at Eagle Roost is like landing in someone's neighborhood, watch out for traffic.......vehicle traffic. I've included the full taxi back on runway 17 to give you a better feel for this unique private airport.
