It’s a perfectly calm moment in Mexico, when suddenly, something mysterious falls from the sky! It’s a flock of black birds swirling to the ground, and it’s absolutely stunning. Hundreds and hundreds of the birds appear like a plume of black smoke. Within seconds, many of them fly off, but a considerable number are killed upon impact, left scattered on the ground. While it looks like they’re just free falling, Miami Zoo’s Ron Magill says that they were actually on the run from a predator.
