Description
Allison Ranch is a beautiful wilderness retreat on the Salmon River. It is however private. The ranch is a Christian Retreat and has guests staying there all summer. MAF uses the accommodations to base out of for some of their training. Runway 15/33 is about 1400ft. Long at an elevation of 2700ft. The approach is a bit of a challenge as the strip is not visible until the short turn on final. The runway is constantly watered providing a lush and sometimes slippery surface.
