Description
This is now a privately owned airport. But, the owner (Chuckwalla Valley Raceway) is more than happy to have aviators drop in most anytime, especially during on track event days. Just call first to make sure somebody is around (760-227-3100).
During on track events and when winds allow, land runway 5 and take off runway 23, if possible.
After landing and parking, check in at the office and ask for a ride to the paddock. During event weekends, camping may be allowed and/or trailers are available for rent. Just check with the office before hand.
